SPF is one part of sun protection

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, water resistance, shade and protective clothing. Follow the product label: apply generously before exposure and reapply at least every two hours outdoors, after the labeled swimming/sweating interval and after towel drying. La Roche-Posay and EltaMD below direct you to a water-resistant sunscreen for swimming or sweating. None is waterproof, and finish or skin tolerance cannot be predicted from the label.
