Before adding retinol

Retinol can irritate skin. Follow the exact label, introduce it gradually and use moisturizer and daytime sun protection. Do not use retinoids during pregnancy; ask your clinician about suitability if trying to conceive or breastfeeding, or if you have persistent redness, a skin condition or other treatments. You do not need to keep increasing strength to have a useful routine.
