Choose protection and fit before a designer label

Look for UV400 or 99–100% UVA/UVB protection on the exact pair. Darker lenses and a higher price do not prove better UV protection. Polarization reduces reflected glare and is a separate feature. Compare your current frame measurements, bridge comfort and side coverage; ordinary sunglasses are not workshop impact protection, eclipse glasses or specialist glacier eyewear. Do not use dark sun lenses for night driving. A well-fitting protective pair you already own may be the better choice. Confirm the exact lens, size, seller, case and return conditions before ordering; prescription lenses and adjustments can add cost.
