UV protection comes before tint or price

Look for 99–100% UVA/UVB protection or UV400 on the exact pair. Dark lenses and a high price do not prove UV protection; polarization reduces reflected glare and is a separate feature. Fit and side coverage matter too. These are everyday sunglasses, not certified workshop eye protection or specialist glacier eyewear. If your current pair fits well and provides appropriate protection, you may not need to replace it. Check the selected lens, retailer and return policy before ordering.

The Dipsea combines a medium-fit round frame with polarized Slate lenses. It is a useful starting point for everyday walks and errands when you want the option to replace scratched lenses rather than discard the frame.

  • 49 mm lens · 22 mm bridge
  • Polarized UV400 lenses
  • Replacement lens kits sold separately
The tradeoff

The low-wrap shape leaves more room for light at the sides. Check replacement-kit stock and shipping costs; ordinary scratched lenses are not covered as a frame defect.

Swank adds hydrophilic rubber nose pads to a familiar rectangular shape. Those pads and the integrated hinge make this a practical everyday-to-active option to compare if smooth plastic frames tend to slide. Choose the Smoke Polarized pair; other Swank colors use different lenses.

  • Small–medium manufacturer fit
  • Polarized polycarbonate lenses
  • Microfiber cleaning bag included
The tradeoff

A cleaning bag offers less crush protection than a hard case. Fit still needs a personal check. Current manufacturer and retailer descriptions conflict on frame weight/material generation, so we do not rely on those specifications.

The Original-size OG pairs a black frame with blue mirrored polarized lenses. Its grip-focused frame coating and straightforward construction suit someone comparing an everyday pair with occasional runs or outdoor activities. This is the current Original SKU G00584-OG-02, not a smaller or larger frame.

  • Original / medium fit
  • Polarized UV400 lenses
  • Black frame · blue mirror
The tradeoff

Treat the mirror coating carefully. Independent OG wear reports flag cleaning and lens-damage concerns; goodr does not sell replacement lenses or frame parts. Do not assume every review covers this exact current SKU.

This exact Holbrook combines an O Matter frame with Prizm Black Polarized lenses. Its regular high-bridge fit and 57 mm selected lens width make it a different fit proposition from the smaller frames here. Compare the shape on your face before paying for the lens system.

  • 57 mm lens · 18 mm bridge
  • Prizm Black Polarized · category 3
  • Matte Black · UPC 888392260109
The tradeoff

Dark category-3 lenses suit bright conditions, not night driving. A high-bridge frame may slip or touch cheeks on other faces. Replacement lenses add cost; Holbrook XL is a different model.

Peahi brings a curved frame and Neutral Grey polarized SuperThin Glass lenses. The wrap is worth comparing when you want more side coverage than a flatter everyday frame. Our linked pair is Gloss Black, 65 mm, with the Neutral Grey lens rather than the Bronze or prescription versions.

  • 65 mm lens · 19 mm bridge
  • Base-8 wraparound frame
  • Polarized SuperThin Glass
The tradeoff

Glass lenses need careful handling and can break. A substantial wrap fits differently from a flat frame; try it before committing. Historical Peahi Bronze-lens tests do not establish performance for this Neutral Grey pair.
